Alpha Life Trends - 2008 Overview

Alpha Life Trends 2008
Overview

2008 is universally a ONE year, which provides the impetus to start into new directions, bring forward new energies and to open the door for new options and opportunities. We will have the help of very important and key planetary shifts, which will cause situations in the outside world to become important back drop of issues and focus as well. Our perceptions of the outside situations provide the key to how we will change our energies in response to these situations. Our response can be seen in more detail by reviewing the Personal Influence for 2008. (As shown below)

The last time we were in a ONE universal year can be seen by looking at our own past history of events that occurred in the previous ONE-YEAR, which was in 1999, 1990, 1981, 1972, 1963, etc. Looking back to our own past history and previous "seasons" allow us to review the events that were happening at that time to create the surge of new energy and issues which then allowed the birth of the new cycle to be formulated. Granted the celestial influences were different at that time, but the overall impact was the same, in opening up opportunities for a NEW nine-year cycle. (2008-2017)

January opens the door to the NEW year of 2008. We will begin to see a new set of situations, new circumstances, new people and new opportunities. The energy is different and so our response will be different. We will feel like the new kid on the block and see life in new ways. Even though nothing may change significantly, we find ourselves looking and feeling like everything has changed. This is the cosmic shift into a new season, similar to shifting seasons in the outside world, we feel something is different and we know we are moving into new and different directions. January is a TWO month, which represents our connections with people, relationships, partnerships, neighbors, co-workers, family and friends. The focus in January provides situations in which we are connecting to people in new and different ways, looking for information that we will utilize as our life shifts and therefore the people around us shift as well. We will be reviewing many of the situations that were brought forward in November 2007 as a preview of sorts. January provides more of a resolution and an opportunity to shift our focus to bring about new relationships and new connections.

The key months for 2008 will be February which has the Solar and Lunar Eclipse that provides another surge of energy to jump into new directions and to focus on the transition of our life and the people that have moved into our life. The Aquarius Solar Eclipse on February 6th provides a very powerful surge to move people, humanity into directions in which the changing of the guard and changing the leadership of humanity can begin to shift the larger global energies into new directions. The month of April will bring in changing circumstances that opens the door for change as we veer into new and different directions. These changes will be the result of harnessing our bold innovative decisions to jump into new directions, regardless of how others have wanted situations to continue in the same old direction. July provides a great deal of activity that keeps the pace moving and expands the resolutions to implement new opportunities as we move the old situations out of our life once and for all. August contains the Solar and Lunar Eclipse as the completion from February's open door. The Leo energy from the Eclipse assists the process of changing the guard, changing the leadership. September brings in the new energy that eliminates any remaining hesitation and doubts and catapults us into our rightful directions. New energies shift and focus, pushing and pulling us beyond old situations and creating the new journey, setting a new pace that is part and parcel of 2008 being the beginning of our new nine-year cycle

Jupiter in Capricorn

Jupiter entered Capricorn on December 18, 2007 and is going through the sign of Capricorn throughout 2008 and moves out of Capricorn January 2009. Jupiter is expansive and pushes us beyond our comfort zone. Jupiter stays in each sign about one year, and this gives us plenty of time to move out of our familiar comfort zone and into a whole new expression. Jupiter in Capricorn prompts us to expand our career and business focus, perhaps to do something different than we've done before and potentially will make us feel like we are a fish out of water. However, we will begin to realize that we are just in an unfamiliar environment having to pull forth unfamiliar qualities. We have to learn different capabilities and turn our map upside down a few times to get our bearings. During Jupiter's first swing (up through 22 Capricorn - there are 30 degrees in each sign) we feel as though we are on the "rack" and each day the turn of the crank stretches us making us have visions of our arms and feet popping out of their sockets. This becomes the mental and emotional feelings because we are in such unfamiliar territory. However, gaining a greater understanding of the placement of Capricorn within our charts, shows the qualities that are being stretched beyond the familiar. Typically Capricorn deals with career and business, and so the environment is often thought of to occur in this environment, however we may experience this feeling in many varied environments, to help us shake loose of the old comfort environments. Growing beyond our past is Jupiter's theme. Many astrology books speak of Jupiter as "beneficial". But when we are on "the rack" beneficial is probably the furthest description from our minds. Often Jupiter's influence is more difficult to contend with than Saturn, as Saturn is the boot camp instructor that requires we can strength, but Jupiter throws us into the lake and gives us the opportunity to learn how to swim.

Saturn in Virgo

Saturn in Virgo is actually a very positive placement to all of the other planetary aspects. Saturn is the personal coach that continues to improve the weak links and weaknesses that we have within our character. Saturn is easier to work with in earth signs as Saturn requires that we get organized and get things in order. Earth signs like this process as well, so to have Saturn in Virgo is a definite positive. The sign of Virgo is detailed and insistent upon looking at every detail and the need to improve, correct and fix is inherent in the Virgo nature. Therefore Saturn in Virgo is a positive placement as we move into a ONE year to build a foundation, a solid foundation of order and methodology.

The fact that Saturn is in opposition to Uranus in 2008 (by sign and then in November 2008, to the degree) becomes a key factor in the auditing process. While Uranus has been squaring Pluto since 2002/2003, once Pluto transitions into Capricorn, Pluto and Saturn will be trine, which is a very positive aspect. Uranus will no longer be square and in fact will be similar to the trine aspect and provide a positive, ease to the challenges that have occurred since 2002/2003. With Saturn opposition Uranus by sign during 2008, Saturn will also be trine Pluto. This combination brings Saturn into the "fixit" mode.

Saturn brings in the auditing characteristics and Uranus pushes us out of our comfort zone. These two planets in opposition create an unusual connection in which we are moved into unfamiliar territory and yet we have to become strong, clear, and provide our best. That is a tall order for many and so we also have to know that this theme will continue to be the prevailing wind with Uranus blowing in changes and within those changes, Saturn requires that we put our nose to the grind stone and bring perfection to the situations. This of course provides great opportunities for us to discover our true worth, value and capabilities. Sometimes we are the last to think we can do something or that we are good at something until we are forced into these very situations. This becomes a key factor especially when Jupiter is promoting our expansion into new career and business pursuits and Pluto also is changing our life pointing us into directions that we seem to think don't fit us at all. In reality, these situations bring about some of the greatest discoveries, through the deployment into situations we never choose in a million years, we actually discover the passion inside ourselves and our true purpose.

The key to Saturn in Virgo in opposition to Uranus in Pisces is to bring order and calm to the changes and changing circumstances that we find ourselves involved. Through the changing winds, we adjust and bring an order and process to the changes, recognizing that through these changes, our greatest opportunities and our true work and passionate purpose will evolve. Looking to the areas that contain the Virgo and Pisces within our charts, show the two ends of the same stick, gain balance and both expressions will contain our true essence.

Uranus in Pisces

Uranus in Pisces opens up our inner qualities of intuition, perception, spiritual connection and sensitivities to the esoteric. These qualities will be utilized as part of our celestial navigation into the ONE year of 2008 and the beginning of our new nine-year cycle. Uranus provides change, breakthrough and freedom by thrusting us out of the ruts we have been in for years. Uranus takes 7 years to go through one sign and the year on either side of the 7 years is the transition year, so it ultimately becomes a nine-year process of adjustment and transitions. Uranus first went into Pisces in March 2003, with 2002 giving us the preview of energies shifting into place. Uranus began to SQUARE Pluto by sign and therefore changes became intensified and magnified into epic events and circumstances. The time frame from Uranus SQUARE Pluto March 2003 to January 2008 when Pluto moves into Capricorn, shifts the SQUARE into a more pleasant aspect. We will begin to feel as though there are some solutions and changes that are finally possible and within arms reach. During the short stint of Pluto moving back into Sagittarius (mid June 2008 to November 2008) we will find the intensity is ratcheted up again, but ultimately to bring forward solutions and implementations that resolve key intensities that occurred from 2003 through 2008.

It was within days of Uranus moving into Pisces to begin this SQUARE to Pluto, that the Iraq War and corresponding decisions began. This type of decision began not only about the Iraq War, but about several areas relating to Sagittarius arenas such as; Educational facilities, Judicial mis-placed authorities, Religious facilities, and many other International agencies. Many of the "wars" that are raging at the current time all have to do with decisions that began to intensify since March 2003, which began this SQUARE. Always with SQUARES, the challenges are like STAIRS, they require a great amount of effort in order to climb to the heights to address the issues and find the solutions necessary.

Once Jupiter went into Capricorn on December 18th, 2007, there began to be communications that itimated an easing of the "warring" issues was happening. Once we get to Pluto moving into Capricorn, we will find that this SQUARE with Uranus will have eased considerably. This will be seen in many of these Sagittarius arenas such as Educational issues, Judicial issues, Religious issues, International issues. We will find that the first half of 2008 Pluto will be more in the easing of these warring issues and solutions will even begin to be created and resolved. Once Pluto moves back into Sagittarius on June 14th into the SQUARE with Uranus, the warring issues will resurface to put the finishing resolutions into place.

From these issues that have occurred during this SQUARE, we will find that many of the governmental, education, judicial, international and military issues are required to implement these "fixes" because of the atrocities that have occurred during these SQUARES. We will find that there to be a great many courageous people who rise to the occasion to demand changes in these areas, and demand that these issues are "fixed". August becomes this powerful month in which the courageous people who have been those injured, nearly destroyed, and negatively impacted within these arenas begin to speak up, speak out and demand changes. These messages become the theme once Pluto turns direct, September 9, 2008 and makes a B-line for Capricorn. These issues will take over the political arena as important because the "after effect" of these atrocities becomes the issue and hot topics. After the US election, Pluto moves into Capricorn, and the new issues will become the subject of major transitions in government, government agencies, international government agency reform measures impacting the areas of education, judicial, military and religious authorities. Getting back to the basics of the Constitution and governments getting out of the business of becoming the oppressive authority becomes a key focus at this time, honoring the rights and freedoms of all.

Pluto in Capricorn

Pluto represents power as our ethics and motives relating to our power and our use of power. As Jupiter rolls out the Capricorn carpet of opportunities and expansions into career and business directions, Pluto shifts into Capricorn January 25, 2008. Pluto provides power and gives us the direction to expand our own personal power in our new career and business pursuits. Many of life's situations we would not consciously move ourselves into, but yet it is our response to bring out the "best" that turns situations into the greatest of blessings. Pluto provides the opportunity to bring forward our power.

While Pluto was in Sagittarius, the doorway signs, those square and opposite to Sagittarius felt the intensity of Pluto's energy; Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. The placement of key planets in these signs designated the type of events we dealt with and were able to grow and strengthen qualities and attributes. As Pluto shifts into Capricorn, the Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces signs begin to feel an easing of intensity. The doorway signs for Pluto's movement in Capricorn are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. So the shift will move us into new themes, new areas of growth and focus, giving us all the opportunity to bring forward stronger qualities and attributes associated with our True Self.

The intensity will not be felt until Uranus moves into Aires, which will SQUARE Pluto by sign, which will be in 2011. At that time, we will all move into a similar time to that requires the ARIES Self to bring forward new, innovative energies to integrate into business and career directions. The innovative qualities will get us all off the bench and into the game, regardless of how old or young we are or think we are. This promises to be a time that many new inventions will be made and great strides will come about that will push us into a new era. So the more we recognize the importance of Pluto in Capricorn, the more we can prepare for the Uranus SQUARE intensity.

Neptune and Chiron in Aquarius

Neptune and Chiron are both in Aquarius, in close enough proximity to each other in 2008 and more exact in 2009 that we can begin to see the importance of bringing our spiritual connections to the events in the outer environment. The planet of Neptune prompts us to bring our spiritual beliefs into the everyday world and especially as Chiron emphasizes our spiritual bank account of qualities and attributes to call upon when situations are challenging in the outside world. The important piece of information to realize is that in 2009 with Neptune and Chiron in Aquarius, Jupiter will join these two to make it an incredible trio. This will bring forward many opportunities to bring into manifestation the humanitarian focus and shift of mankind from those who have earned the greatest power positions to truly have an influence. This becomes significant as the changes in events are those that make history and that bring about the window of time when great inventions and advances to civilization occur. These can only occur by those that are in this time and harness these energies for the greatest of good for mankind.

The placement of Neptune and Chiron becomes important as the ONE year of 2008 begins to set a new pace, new precedence and new focus. This foundation then is emphasized and expanded as Jupiter moves into Aquarius in January 2009 and reaches a connection of all three energies in June 2009. This becomes very significant in the choices, directions, motives, ethics and power we utilize during the transitions of 2008 into 2009. Shine more light upon this area, and gain a greater understanding; look to where 26 Aquarius in within your charts. This will give us the opportunity to see the area of significance that our goals and aspirations of goodwill toward humanity will take form. To prepare for this time, each of us will be drawn to particular directions in our career and business transitions that occur as 2008 sets us upon a new path, with a new pace and new goals. This additional level of understanding provides greater depth as we expand into 2008 into avenues that have a greater purpose and place in the global environment.
