Universal Influences for each month of 2008

2008 - January 1st begins the New Year of 2008, a ONE universal year. The new beginnings that surge into reality during January will be very powerful. Setting a new pace and preparing new environment for new theme and events, January rolls a lot into place. 2008 is the beginning of a NINE-year cycle in numerology (2008 - 2017) and begins the new pace, while setting the stage with new props, people and events. To assist this new surge of energy, the planetary aspects provide the jumpstart. The Solar Eclipse February 6th in humanitarian oriented Aquarius, dictates our new energy and focus lights the way toward our rightful career and business pursuits. Jupiter's move into Capricorn rolls out the red carpet of events providing new directions for each of us. Jupiter also prepares the way for powerful Pluto to open doors and create a powerful wave of new energy. Saturn in concert with Jupiter and Pluto, all in a user-friendly earth signs, which allow us to get organized, set our directions into place, fine tune and make things happen. Uranus has been square to Pluto by sign since 2002/2003, which has created an intensity of situations that has taxed us all. This "square" will be changing to a more harmonious aspect as Jupiter and Pluto move into Capricorn. We will notice an easing up of situations. Also once Pluto touches back into Sagittarius from June - November 2008, we will have the need to put resolutions into place, to solve the problems that have grown out of the squared energy since 2002/2003. These resolutions will also set a new pace for 2008, putting solid foundations into place by November 2008. The evolution of events create the new energy of the ONE universal year.

JANUARY - January is universally a TWO month, a time to blend the new energies together. We will be setting a new pace with these energies, marked by Jupiter blazing the trail. Jupiter is rolling out of the red carpet that expands as it rolls out, providing opportunities to move into new career and business pursuits that expand and put us into unfamiliar territory. This is greatly emphasized because of Mars also retrograde in Gemini, emphasizing information, people and changes. This sets the stage for January to revise directions, goals and activities. Once Pluto moves into Capricorn on January 25th/26th, we will have shifted into different positions, directions, goals and journeys. The fact that Mercury turns retrograde on the 28th provides the course correction that will shift around the Aquarius factor of humanity. We will all change positions, directions, and the people we work with or deal with will change considerably during the retrograde. By the Solar Eclipse on February 6th in Aquarius and in the middle of the Mercury retrograde, our new direction will be set, compass adjusted and our 2008 journey will begin. .

FEBRUARY - February is universally a THREE month, emphasizing creativity, self-expression, socializing and people focused events. February opens up with a Mercury retrograde in Aquarius, which immediately shifts the people around us, much like musical chairs. Decisions will have been made in January as Mars retrograde would have created detours and course changes because of Mars in information-oriented Gemini. The information would have shifted directions, goals, and journeys. The information would then cause the course correction to become prominent through February's decisions and announcements. Surrounding the New Moon/Solar Eclipse of February 6th will come important adjustments and changes that set us all on a new path. This new path will begin and be celebrated with the Chinese New Year on February 7th with the Year of the Rat. 2008 will empower those who are courageous and enterprising; finding solutions while using instinctive and intuitive qualities to assist others, provides strong survival qualities, but also creates the foundation for success in 2008. The Aquarius focus of the Solar Eclipse becomes the backdrop of the valued energy as we create a important foundation for the year.

MARCH - The month of March is universally a. FOUR month, emphasizing our abilities to organize, plan and activate goals. The important fact about March comes in with Sun and Mercury ultimately connecting to the winds of change planet of Uranus. This gives us the opportunity to organize our tasks and projects and begin to put the hammer to the nail and build the life we want. On March 7th, the new moon at 17 Pisces also contains the Mars and Pluto connection that occurred on January 2nd, in late Sagittarius is now in Capricorn/Cancer sectors, a much better placement for harnessing our energy. This will blast the new beginnings into a faster pace as efficiency becomes the music of March. Having specific projects gives us the appropriate tasks and deadlines to accomplish what we have set into motion. Our work is cut out for us in March and many other unplanned events and situations fly into the month as well. Situations that occur become important as we realize that these unplanned circumstances unfold a whole new scenario than was ever anticipated. We realize the new direction has occurred without us even noticing until we are moving into a whole new direction.

APRIL - April is universally a FIVE month, one of change breakthrough and freedom. This transition becomes very important and key to the journey of 2008. Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto are creating a positive-energy combination that moves our life into some very fascinating directions as our life veers into new and different directions. This becomes a stunning month filled with changes, adjustments and events that seem to catch us by surprise. We have a great deal of situations to contend with and many of them provide energies that shift situations from one direction to another. Situations that occur in April require that we make a choice, make decisions about options available to us that also cause us to veer into new and different directions. Avenues come into view, doors open and opportunities abound in April. We each will make important choices during this month. Pluto turns retrograde on April 2nd, giving us the chance to go back over issues that have come into play because of Pluto's transition into Capricorn. The Sun connects with Mercury mid-month which gives us important contracts to sign that spell out the new directions and harness the needed events to be organized and built. We feel that we are finally moving forward and that we now have understanding of the new props, people and things in our life.

MAY - May is universally a SIX month. Many changes will manifest in changing homes and jobs during this month. We will begin to recognize the importance of health and services as well. Situations will provide strong energies that unfold the choices we made in April and begin to unfold the new environments that bring us into alignment with our rightful path. Saturn turns direct on May 2nd, and we are able to move our plans into motion. Saturn is assisting us to build the foundation that is needed. With Saturn turning direct, we will have completed the foundation, now we can begin to build up to create the life we want. Jupiter turns retrograde, indicting that we have reached the expansion point that has given us a lot to consider. Similar to being flooded by so many new choices of career and business options and now we have to steady ourselves from the dizzying prospects and make some choices. Later in the month Mercury turns retrograde in Gemini, which gives us the task to make important decisions about the life we want to build. This opens the door for important Gemini decisions, as the harsh aspect of Pluto in opposition by sign, has created challenges for the Gemini energy since 1995. Now, the Gemini energy can begin to make some different choices to open the doors not provided until now.

JUNE - June is universally a SEVEN month. This is the type of month that will begin to pull us out of the merry go round of the world and begin to shift us into our own direction. Most of June, Mercury is retrograde in Gemini, granting us the opportunity to make major course corrections. Also on Friday the 13th, Pluto rolls back into Sagittarius to oppose Gemini by sign. This will bring forward the review of all the challenges experienced since 1995 to bring forward important realizations and to allow us to put key resolutions into place. The SEVEN month is usually a time that we are looking at situations from a much deeper perspective and coming to terms with situations. The winds of change planet Uranus, turns retrograde on the 26th, which provides the important shifts needed for us to view situations as they truly are. This also brings back the issues of Uranus squaring Pluto by sign, and opens the door for us to see in comparison how to find the right resolution for the current situations. The comparison was brought to us as Jupiter and Pluto were in Capricorn, providing new options. Looking at the old way and the new way, we now have the opportunity to make different choices. The SEVEN month points to the need to resolve the past and to truly commit to the future. This becomes a very key month in 2008.

JULY - July is universally an EIGHT month, ratcheting up the pace to bring about the resolutions and correcting the issues at hand. Mars rolls into auditing Virgo on the first of July and brings out the magnifying glass to get the corrections going. This process is assisted by Mars connecting to Saturn, providing the solid, fix-it energy. The EIGHT is the number dealing with career and business environments, which become key to this primary year while Jupiter is in Capricorn. Many of the adjustments that occur this month have major impact in the business arena. Fixing problems is the key focus of the current planetary collection. By the end of the month, Sun connects with Mercury by providing us with a new contract of sorts, to incorporate the issues that have sparked the need for resolutions. There will be a lot of power plays back and forth communications with heightened emotional attachments to them. The Full Moon on the 18th and Mercury opposition Jupiter on the 19th provide the sparks needed that also find words flying one way and then the other. The political environment at this time will become highly volatile because of the major findings of issues needing to be fixed.

AUGUST - August is a NINE month, bringing many issues to a completion, incorporating new energies into the future, but also eliminating the old situations that are no longer allowed to participate. The Solar Eclipse on August 1st becomes a key factor in this process, as the New Moon/Solar Eclipse is in Leo. Bold, brave, courageous Leo speaks up in powerful ways to bring forward new energies, and putting in the sparks to set the old situations ablaze. The month of August not only provides the ending to many issues and events, but also creates an important shift. With two New Moons, one on the 1st, which is also a Solar Eclipse, and the second one on August 30th, shifts the order of the New Moon and Full Moon as we move into September. Every 18 months, the order shifts, which then creates a whole new feel to the month and to the order of events. August becomes that powerful month that halts many of the old issues from continuing and gives the new energy the rights of passage. This will be accomplished with the Solar Eclipse on August 1st and the Lunar Eclipse on August 16th. Major transitions occur all month long with change of focus, change of events, setting new goals into motion and addressing key events that are kicked up by the winds of change that are responsible for three of the events in August. The New Moon on August 30th is at 8 Virgo, opening the door to the completed version of the major corrections and fixes that have needed to be done.

SEPTEMBER - September is universally a ONE month, bringing forward our contract and commitment for our new directions. Jupiter and Pluto both turn direct on the 7th and 8th, which then open the door for our new directions to be rolled out in our revised version. September becomes the month in which we have our tasks, our new sense of purpose, and our new Self. The days of September become days to march past the junk yard of our past issues, old aspects of self and expired events. The Harvest Full Moon mid-month provides a grand rising of the full energies and emotions that allow us to celebrate the new energies rising with the moon. We can embrace our new directions, new props, new people, new career and business pursuits as part of this month. All of the new elements are in our life and the old is fading with the sunset on September 15th, and the Full Moon rises simultaneously as if to symbolize the new life that has now become complete. Mercury turns retrograde on the 24th, in the sign of Libra, bringing balance and harmony to many situations that need to have feathers smoothed and ruffled edges unfolded. The New Moon on the 29th is at 6 Libra, providing us the official new beginnings for the new life that we now have and the new world that has been created.

OCTOBER -. The month of October is universally a TWO month, bringing a harmonious blending of our new life to the new people in our environment. Mars moves into Scorpio in early October, becoming the stealthy energy that is moving people, situations and events into place. Mercury being retrograde in Libra gives us the chance to harmonize many of the details in our life and to bring our connections with others into a new focus. Mercury turns direct right after the Full Moon mid-month. This provides the opportunities needed to relax a bit as we re-connect with those that are important to us and our new life. The TWO also deals with humanity and how we are integrating our goals and concepts of humanity into our career and business directions. This becomes a very important part of October, especially as we move into the New Moon on the 28th. Our true values about ourselves and others will begin to intertwine in the events that are emerging, like a vine growing around a new post. The growth is part of this whole process and therefore the concepts and true values about others will become a key factor in the evolution of the new energy of this nine-year cycle.

NOVEMBER - The month of November is universally a THREE month, bringing forward a strong creative energy and opening the door for us to greatly enjoy being around the new people that have emerged in our life. The Election Day prospects will have a very different look to them than they did earlier in the year. The issues will have taken a dramatic change in August as the old issues had to be dumped and new ones taken up. The importance of Pluto moving back into Sagittarius between June and November opened up a whole new can of worms that had to be resolved in new and different ways, making the importance of issues subject to the changing tapestry of events. On Election Day, Saturn and the winds of change planet of Uranus point to the shifts that have occurred that required issues to be addressed and resolved that had been opened up when Pluto moved back into Sagittarius. This set many situations into orbit that seem to be like a juggernaut, creating a unique orbit. Mercury moves into Scorpio early on the 4th, which requires that each person look into their own depth to make important choices. Therefore there may be many surprises and surprising outcomes because of this process. Sun connects Mercury on the 25th, providing us the paperwork to sign on the dotted line. Pluto moves into Capricorn (2008-2023) and will stay in the earth sign til 2023, pushing all energies to create major transitions in the government, judicial, educational international arenas. The winds of Uranus blow in changes along with the New Moon on the 27th, which create important changes and adjustments that provide a positive energy shift between Uranus and Pluto once again. These changes blow a whole new perspective into place, opening doors for the important line up of information and actions taken. Mercury connecting to Mars on the 28th, bring forward the need to line up our words and actions. This caps the 4 days of great important events from the 25th through the 28th, as the tide turns with the completion of this ONE year.

DECEMBER - December is universally a FOUR month, which prompt us to put cornerstones into place aw we continue to build our nine-year cycle, from 2008 - 2017. December contains the solidifying type of energy that makes us want to organize, toss out and create whole new traditions and bring in new circumstances, setting new precedence. We may opt to start our new traditions with opportunities to travel and do things very differently than we have done in the past. The world has gotten much closer to utilizing the opportunities to experience and transition our goals into a more international setting. Sun, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Pluto are all connected in Capricorn, setting our new purpose, energy, desires and power into place. This creates a very focused energy combination that provides important open doors for setting new decisions into place. These planets connecting to each other give us a solid feeling that has been so illusive. The new energy is user-friendly earth sign of Capricorn, with Saturn in earth sign of Virgo, bring in the opportunities to set new directions into place. We are also able to implement the type of circumstances that take we have wanted for quite some time, and now with Uranus being in a positive placement to Pluto, many of the challenges that have occurred and have caused havoc since 2002/2003 will have faded into the background. This becomes a wonderful Holiday month to celebrate the new energies that have accumulated all during 2008 creating the starting point of our new life.
